"Heia Bjørn! Du er gutten!" is a monologue written in 1996.

It was produced by Østfold Theatre for its theatre festival in Askim, and had considerable success there.

The leading Norwegian director Cathrine Telle was present and said of the piece: "This work shows the way Norwegian theatre will be going in the years to come."

The monologue is a satire on the cultural collisions between sport and arts. In the winter of 1997 we took the work to Trondheim when the Ski World Cup was being held, playing at the university's theatres.

Laura Djupvik played all the roles in the piece..
